Mainstream: Starts on Oct. 3, 2009 - 1st & 3rd Saturdays 7:30 to 10:00 PM
The Banff Trailers Square Dance Club was created by Ron and Jeanie Refvik some fifty years ago. Ron, who is now retired, was one of Calgary's most famous callers, and he was the choreographer and caller for the 1988 Winter Olympics Square Dance exhibition performance. We had Cathy and Dave Ormon, Chairpersons for the 2002 National Convention, as our callers until Cathy's retirement.
Banff Trailers are here to have a good time. Our February 2007 Mardi Gras was a riot and we had excellent Cajun food as well; and we help Calgary's needy with toys, food and funds through our traditional Toy Dance. Our mainstream callers Lorne and Barb Smith help us to have fun, and calling our new beginner classes with we have
David and Claudia Littlefair .
