Ann and Mike emigrated from England in 1977 with their two daughters; in 1981 they had twin sons.

Ann and Mike came into square dancing in 1997, joining the Revelers Square Dance Club new dancer class, now known as the Prairie Winds.
Quickly becoming involved with club activities they ran the new dancers classes for the Revelers and Prairie Winds in their position as Vice Presidents.

Attending Caller School in the winter of 2005 with the late Dennis Levitt; Ann knew this was something she wanted to pursue. Ann is continuing her caller education now with Lorne and Barb Smith attending the 2006 Caller School with The Square and Round Dance Instructors' Association of Alberta.

Ann is enjoying learning to call patter and continues to have fun in her new found hobby; Mike is Ann's biggest supporter in this new role for him as a Callers Partner.
