We started square dancing in 1966 in Vancouver B.C. and round dancing in 1967. In January 1969 we started teaching rounds and have completed 37 years of teaching. Our present Round Dance Club consists of classes from the Beginners to Phase IV.
Our participation includes three Canadian National Conventions, four U.S. National Square And Round Dance Conventions. And are members of ROUNDALAB, Dixie Round Dance Council, and the Calgary Callers Association.
Square and Round dancing is our main recreation and has given us the pleasure of traveling and making several new friends while teaching and dancing at various weekend festivals in many Canadian Provinces and U.S. States.
We have now enjoyed living in Calgary for four years and have a custom engraving business at which Donna works full time. Ron has recently retired and will enjoy having more time to spend on our Round Dance program.
