Dave & Claudia joined Strathmore's Wheatland Whirlers in 1994. Dave became interested in calling in 2002, has attended several caller schools and workshops, and started calling for the Wheatland Whirlers in January, 2008. He teaches beginners in Calgary for the Banff Trailers on Monday evenings. Claudia has started cuing rounds. A typical evening in Strathmore features calling by Dave and retired-caller club member Kip Condon, and cuing by Mary Milton and Claudia.
Dave's daytime job keeps him busy with food orders - he's a sales rep (and cheese expert) for a food import company based in Toronto. Claudia is the office administrator for Strathmore's RE/MAX Realty office. Hobbies include square dancing, round dancing, clogging, jogging and gardening. Four adult children and grandkids keep them busy too.
