CueSteps Round Dance Club is a non-profit club, incorporated under the Alberta Societies Act in July/2008. Classes are held at Winston Heights Community Centre, 520 - 27th Avenue N.E., in Calgary. We are fortunate to have Ron and Donna Baba as our cuer/instructors. Their classes are well-organized, helpful, informal, friendly, and fun. |
The Calgary & District Square & Round Dancers Association (C&D) is the non-profit, umbrella organization for these Clubs in Calgary and the surrounding Districts. Combined membership is over 900 with dancers ranging in age from 20s to 80s. While most of our dancing is for couples, members of the Swinging Singles Square Dance Club and the Clogging Clubs do not require partners. Some of our participants have been active in one or more of our Clubs for over 20 years! There's even a few who have learned all three of these types of dance!

Square Dancing, Round Dancing, and Clogging are international activities. Dance moves are standardized and called in English worldwide. Looking at the broader picture, C&D is a member of the Alberta Square & Round Dancers Federation (ASRDF), and through ASRDF, has membership in the Canadian Square & Round Dancers Society (CSRDS). Our Dancers often attend Special Dances, Conventions, Workshops, Jamborees at local, provincial, national and international levels.
