The next C&D Casino will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, October 4-5, 2017 at Calgary Casino on Barlow Trail N.E. (just off 16th Avenue).
We need volunteers for various positions. The time slots and positions are as follows:
Day shift – 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Evening Shift – 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Count Room – 11:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
General Manager – Responsible for the total operation of casino, including gaming floor, security, cashier’s cage and count room
Banker – Controls cashier’s cage floats of chips and cash, with the assistance of the Cash Cage advisor. Mathematical skills are helpful in this position.
Cashier – Cashes in chips for players and makes change. Requires concentration and accuracy and is not recommended for those who are color blind.
Count Room Supervisor – Works with Count Room advisor in recording cash counts and game wins and losses. Administrative skills are useful as are good math skills. This individual is not required to handle cash.
Count Room Staff – Sort, amalgamate, count and verify all cash from table game drop boxes.
Chip Runners – Provide Chips to various tables as required.

We are required to submit our casino licence application along with our volunteer worker forms for the key positions (General Manager, Banker, Cashier, Countroom Supervisor and Staff) not later than August 4, 2017.
